This is not an official licence

La Copenhagen Tourist Cycling Licence n'est pas un document officiel ni administratif. Aucune licence n'est exigée pour circuler à vélo au Danemark. Ce certificat confirme uniquement que son titulaire a suivi le cours et le test de Bike Safe CPH à la date indiquée. Il ne confère aucun droit et n'a aucune valeur juridique.

Do not present it as identification, as a permit, or as any kind of official document. It is a certificate saying you took a course.

Ce cours explique le code de la route danois en langage clair pour les visiteurs. Il s'agit d'informations indicatives, pas d'un conseil juridique. Les règles et les amendes évoluent, et il vous appartient de respecter le droit danois en vigueur.

We work hard to keep the course accurate, and we review it against the Danish Road Traffic Act. We cannot guarantee it is complete or current at the moment you read it, and passing the test does not make you a safe cyclist - only riding carefully does that.

The name on your certificate

Le nom figurant sur ce certificat a été saisi par son titulaire et n'a pas été vérifié. Ce n'est pas une pièce d'identité.

Use your real name if you intend to show the certificate to anyone. We may withdraw a certificate carrying an offensive or impersonating name.

Your account

• You need to be old enough to consent to us storing your name and email. If you are under 16, ask a parent first.
• One licence per person. Retaking the test updates your existing certificate rather than issuing a second one.
• Do not attempt to obtain a certificate for someone who did not sit the test.
• You can delete your account, and everything attached to it, at any time from your account page.

We can withdraw a licence

If a certificate was obtained dishonestly, carries an abusive or impersonating name, or is being presented as an official document, we can revoke it. A revoked certificate page says so plainly rather than disappearing, so anyone checking gets an answer.

Cost

The course, the test and the certificate are free, and retaking the test is free. There is nothing to pay at any point and we will never ask for card details. If a site asks you to pay for a Copenhagen cycling licence, it is not us.

Changes

We update the course as the rules change. Your certificate records which version of the course you were tested on, and is valid for two years from the date it was issued.
